Susan DeCarava and the Guild Forward Slate Declared Elected

The NewsGuild of New York is pleased to announce Local leadership, elected without contest, for the three-year term beginning January 2, 2026.

These 13 officers, along with every Unit Chair in our union, make up our Executive Committee. While there are some familiar names here, it’s also exciting to see new names and units represented. Stay tuned for more information about our new Executive Committee in the coming months. 

Let us also collectively thank all of the current Executive Committee officers for their service to our Guild community in organizing strikes, winning strong contracts and advocating for the role of journalism in our democracy.
