Election Information for Local Chair and First Vice President

The NewsGuild of New York is currently holding a contested elections for the opening seats for the Local Chair and First Vice President. Anna Pierdiluca, of Consumer Reports; Karen Rohan, of Foreign Policy; and Nusrat Sultana, of the Hudson News, are running for local chair. Hillary Russ, of Reuters and Nezamuddin Shaikh, of Hudson News, are running for First Vice President. 

Ballots were mailed out on June 22, 2018, and ballots will be counted at the American Arbitration Association on July 18, 2018.

Members who have not received a ballot should call the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”)  at 1-800-529-5218, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to request a ballot.  The AAA can send a ballot only to the requesting member, not to someone other than the requesting member.
