Guild Event | Diversity Committee Meeting

As the union for news professionals in the media capital of the world, the NewsGuild believes that our newsrooms are at their best when they represent the full diversity of our city and our country. On Tuesday, December 4, we'll be convening the first meeting of the NewsGuild's Diversity Committee, a local-wide effort to brainstorm ways our shops can foster workforce diversity, talk about what's worked in our contracts and what hasn't, and provide support for each other in campaigns to increase diversity in our shops. There will be a remote call-in option for members based outside NYC.
