CUNY Event | Bootcamp: Practical Machine Learning for Journalists 

Welcome to the next generation of data journalism: Recognize cases when machine learning can help in investigations, use existing and custom-made tools to tackle real-world reporting issues, and avoid bias and error in your work! This bootcamp is taught by John Keefe, technical architect for bots and machine learning at Quartz. 

This intensive two-day bootcamp meets Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday October 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The workshop starts at $750. However, until September 9, 2019, NewsGuild of New York members can take an additional 20% off of the workshop, totaling the cost at $600.
