Empire State scholarship offered

Full scholarship applications for union members and their families pursuing degrees at Empire State College of the State University of New York are now being accepted for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Guild members and their families are eligible for the Morton Bahr Online Learning Scholarship, which is named after the immediate past president of the Communications Workers of America, the Guild's parent union. The scholarship awards fully cover tuition, fees and special services for part-time study in an online learning program. New Bahr Scholar candidates are responsible for the cost of course materials.
