Skills Training: Digital Security - Encryption Apps and PGP
Harlo Homes, Director of Newsroom Digital Security at Freedom of the Press Foundation, is headed up to Yonkers to lead an in-depth workshop on digital security with our Consumer Reports' members.
Homes will teach us how to use common apps (Signal, WhatsApp, Wire, Semaphor and Peerio) as well as the PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption protocol to send and receive encrypted communications and protect ourselves and our sources.
