Steve Kroft Speaks

Correspondent Steve Kroft of CBS's "60 Minutes" headlines the annual awards dinner of the Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Kroft will be interviewed about the 2012 election and changing political coverage by veteran magazine editor Stephen Shepard, now the founding dean of the Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York, before the Club unveils its 2012 award winners from a list of finalists. A reception will precede the dinner, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Place: Waldorf-Astoria, 301 Park Ave., New York City.
