He previously served as the Unit’s Grievance Chairperson, Unit Vice Chairperson, and has served on several Unit contract bargaining committees.
The Unit Counsel also unanimously nominated Ronnie Munder, an advertising account manager, to replace Maurice Roman, who has left The Times as Unit Assistant Treasurer of the Unit. Ronnie has been at the Times since 1986 and she is currently a Unit Vice Chairperson.
In the event of a contest, the two candidates will run as the “Democratic Coalition Slate”. They will serve until October 31, 2007.
A General Membership Meeting of the Guild Unit at The Times will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Guild Headquarters, 1501 Broadway, Suite 708.
