Grant Glickson and Emilio Gonzalez

 Elected to Local’s Executive Committee

 

Grant Glickson, grievance chairperson of the New York Times Guild unit and Emilio Gonzalez, assistant secretary-treasurer of the Consumers Union Guild unit, are the newest members of our Local’s Executive Committee (EC). 

 

Filling two vacancies on the EC, Glickson and Gonzalez were nominated at an April 15 meeting of the Local’s Representative Assembly.  They were declared elected to the seats at the close of business April 23, when no opposing contestants had been nominated via Guild-member petition. 

 

Had there been a contest, Glickson and Gonzalez would have run as the candidates of The Democratic Coalition Slate.
